Recognised as India’s first DesignX University, AnantU was established in 2016 by the Laxman Gyanpith Trust and is approved by the Council of Architecture. Admission Process

For undergraduate courses such as B.Des and B.Arch, you must first apply online, then appear for the university’s own entrance test (such as ADEPT for design) or a recognised national test (such as NATA for architecture). Shortlisted candidates then go through further stages such as a situation test, interview, portfolio review (where applicable) and finally receive the offer letter once selected. For postgraduate programmes like M.Des, candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree are required to appear for the university’s internal test or submit a portfolio with a statement of purpose, followed by a personal interview. For doctoral and fellowship programmes, applicants must hold a relevant master’s degree, submit a research proposal, and may be assessed through a research aptitude test and an interview to gauge their readiness for advanced research. The entire application process is conducted online—candidates register on the university website, fill in their details and upload the required documents, pay the application fee, and then wait for the university to communicate the next stage. Once selected, candidates undergo a verification of documents and then proceed to pay the fees to confirm admission.
