Sabarmati University is a pioneering state private dual mode university located near Vishno Devi Circle in Ahmedabad. Admissions at Sabarmati University are primarily merit based. For selected courses like PhD and BPharma, applicants may be required to appear for the university level entrance examination. MBA admissions consider the academic performance of the applicant along with national level scores from exams such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT or GMAT.

The university provides an active placement support system. More than eighty percent of eligible students have secured placements with leading organisations such as Intas Pharma, Glenmark Life Sciences, Swiss, O2h Technology, Adani International School, IndiGo Airlines, Cadila Pharmaceuticals and Sidhee Cement. The highest package offered has reached fifteen lakh per annum and the average package remains around four lakh per annum.
