About Us

Darshan University is a well-established private institution located about 19 km from Rajkot, Gujarat, known for delivering career-oriented education across Engineering, Technology, Science, Management, Commerce, Computer Applications, and Yoga. Founded in 2009 as an engineering institute by the Shree G. N. Patel Education and Charitable Trust, the institution steadily evolved into a full-fledged university after receiving recognition under the Gujarat State Private Universities Amendment Act, 2021. Over the years, it has built a strong reputation for its skill-based academic model, hands-on training approach, and an environment that nurtures innovation.

Admission Process

The admission process at Darshan University is designed to be simple, transparent, and merit-focused. Students begin by selecting their preferred program and submitting the online application form available on the official university website. For courses such as BTech, MTech, MBA, and MCA, admission is based on valid entrance exam scores from JEE Main, GUJCET, GATE, CMAT, or Gujarat PGCET, depending on the program. Candidates must upload required documents, including academic records and entrance exam scorecards, during the application stage.

Once applications are reviewed, eligible students are shortlisted for counselling or further selection steps. For merit-based programs like BBA, B.Com, BCA, and B.Sc, admissions are offered based on the candidate’s marks in qualifying examinations. After verification of documents and confirmation of eligibility, students receive their provisional admission offer. Final admission is granted upon successful payment of fees and completion of enrolment formalities.

Minimum Requirements

The minimum requirements for admission at Darshan University vary by program, but the basic eligibility criteria are as follows. For diploma courses, candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognized board. Undergraduate programs such as BTech require completion of Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, along with valid scores in exams like JEE Main or GUJCET. Programs like BBA, BCA, B.Com, and B.Sc require Class 12 qualification in any relevant stream from a recognized board.

For postgraduate courses, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in the corresponding discipline from a recognized university. MTech aspirants must have a BTech degree and a valid GATE or Gujarat PGCET score. MBA and MCA applicants must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree with required marks and, where applicable, a valid CMAT score. Doctoral program candidates must possess a master’s degree in the relevant field with minimum qualifying marks as specified by the university.
