ARNI University, Kangra — Bringing Ambition to Life
Founded in 2009, ARNI University is a State Private University established under the ARNI University (Establishment & Regulation) Act No. 23 of 2009 (amended by Act No. 12 of 2011) and recognized by the UGC. Set in Indora Tehsil, District Kangra (Himachal Pradesh), the campus sits in a serene, green valley near the foothills of the Dhauladhar ranges, overlooking the Beas River—just ~26 km from Pathankot and 6 km from Indora, with easy access from the Jalandhar–Pathankot national highway.

Admission Process

Admission Process – Arni University
Application Mode: Online registration through the official website (arni.in).
Eligibility: Based on course requirements – merit in qualifying exam or valid entrance test scores (AUET / JEE Main / CMAT / MAT / HPTU / other national tests).
Registration Fee:
General Category – ₹11,000
Reserved Category (SC/ST) – ₹3,500
Document Submission: Upload mark sheets, ID proof, category/income certificates (if applicable), and entrance exam scorecards.
Selection: Shortlisting on merit/entrance basis → counseling → provisional admission offer.
Fee Payment & Confirmation: Pay the first-semester fee to secure admission.
Relaxation: SC/ST candidates receive 5% relaxation in eligibility criteria (as per rules).

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements – Arni University
Undergraduate (UG) Programs
Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board.
Minimum 45–50% aggregate marks (varies by program).
For technical courses like B.Tech → valid score in JEE Main / AUET / HPTU entrance.
For professional programs (Pharmacy, Law, Hotel Management, Paramedical, etc.) → eligibility as per AICTE/PCI/BCI/NCTE norms.
Postgraduate (PG) Programs
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with at least 45–50% aggregate marks.
For MBA → valid score in CMAT / MAT / AUET / HPTU / other national-level test.
For M.Tech → B.Tech degree + GATE/HPTU score.
For M.Sc/MA/M.Com → Bachelor’s degree in concerned subject with minimum 50% marks.
Doctoral (M.Phil/Ph.D.)
Master’s degree in relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC as per norms).
Must qualify the University Entrance Test (AUET) or other recognized national tests.
Relaxations
SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates get 5% relaxation in eligibility criteria.
Reservation policies are followed as per Government of Himachal Pradesh guidelines.
