Nestled in the peaceful Himalayan foothills of Dehradun, the University offers a vibrant 42 acre green campus designed to motivate students to explore, experiment, and excel. Established under the Uttarakhand Uthan Samiti and recognised by the University Grants Commission under sections 2(f) and 12(B), the University is also supported by national statutory bodies including PCI, INC, BCI, UAU, IPC and CoA. This strong academic foundation ensures credibility, quality and relevance across all programmes. Since its inception in 2005, Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University has evolved into a diverse multidisciplinary institution that offers more than one hundred twenty programs through eleven specialised schools. Students can pursue fields such as Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Computer Applications, Nursing, Allied Sciences, Agriculture, Architecture, Animation, Design, Law, Mass Communication, Hospitality, Aviation and emerging areas like Aerospace Engineering and Airport Management. Every program is crafted to match current industry needs and future trends, ensuring students gain practical knowledge along with global exposure. The campus is equipped with modern facilities such as advanced laboratories, digital classrooms, innovation and incubation centres, research wings and collaborative industry learning spaces. 📋 Admission Process
Admission Process The admission process at is designed to be smooth, transparent, and student-friendly. Candidates can apply through both online and offline modes. Step 1 Application Submission Visit the official admission portal or the university campus to fill out the application form with correct personal and academic details. Step 2 Document Upload Submit the required documents including mark sheets, ID proof, photographs, and category certificates (if applicable). Step 3 Eligibility Verification The university reviews the submitted documents and checks eligibility as per the programme requirements. Step 4 Entrance or Merit Evaluation Admissions are granted either on a merit basis or through entrance tests, depending on the course selected. Step 5 Counselling and Seat Allotment Shortlisted candidates are invited for counselling or interaction rounds, after which seats are allotted. Step 6 Fee Payment and Confirmation Pay the prescribed admission fee to confirm your seat. The offer is finalized only after fee submission. Step 7 Enrollment and Orientation Complete enrollment formalities and attend the orientation programme to begin your academic journey at university.
✅ Minimum Requirements
Undergraduate (UG) Programs: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Class XII) from a recognized board with at least 45–50% marks in relevant subjects. Postgraduate (PG) Programs: A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required. Diploma Courses: Applicants should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream from a recognized board. Ph.D. Programs: Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks (or equivalent CGPA). For reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PH), a relaxation of 5% is provided. Applicants with UGC-NET / GATE / CSIR / JRF qualifications are exempted from the university entrance test. Age Limit: No upper age limit; admissions are merit and qualification based.
