Located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Vivekananda Global University (VGU) is a leading private university established in 2012 and recognized by the UGC. Accredited with an NAAC A+ grade and approved by statutory bodies such as AICTE and the Bar Council of India, VGU has rapidly emerged as one of Rajasthan’s most progressive institutions, known for academic excellence, innovation, and strong career outcomes for students.

Admission Process

Admission Process

The admission process at Vivekananda Global University is designed to be simple, transparent, and student-friendly. Candidates can apply online by following the steps below:

Step 1: Online Application
Visit the official university admission portal and complete the online application form with accurate personal, academic, and contact details.

Step 2: Entrance Exam / Merit Evaluation
Admission to various programs is based on merit, national-level entrance exams (such as JEE Main, CAT, MAT, etc.), or the university’s entrance test (VGUCET), depending on the course selected.

Step 3: Document Submission
Upload or submit required documents, including academic mark sheets, identity proof, photographs, and any applicable entrance exam scorecards.

Step 4: Counselling & Seat Allotment
Eligible candidates are invited for counselling, where program preferences are confirmed and seats are allotted based on eligibility and availability.

Step 5: Fee Payment & Confirmation
Candidates must pay the prescribed admission fee within the given timeline to confirm their seat and complete the enrollment process.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements

The minimum eligibility requirements for admission vary by program; however, the general criteria are as follows:

Undergraduate Programs (UG): Candidates must have completed 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board with the required minimum percentage as specified for the chosen course. Certain programs may require specific subjects (e.g., Physics and Mathematics for Engineering).

Postgraduate Programs (PG): Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university with the required minimum qualifying marks.

Doctoral Programs (PhD): Candidates must possess a relevant postgraduate degree with the minimum percentage/CGPA as prescribed by the university and may be required to qualify for an entrance test and interview.

Entrance Exams: Some programs require valid scores from national-level entrance exams or the university’s entrance test, depending on the course.

Document Verification: Submission of valid academic certificates, identity proof, photographs, and other required documents is mandatory at the time of admission.
