Established in 2008, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University is a UGC-recognized private university under Section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, and was constituted through the Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam, 2008 (UP Act No. 29 of 2008). The University functions under the guidance of the Mahayana Theravada Buddhist Religious and Charitable Trust, Meerut, an institution widely respected for its contributions to education, healthcare, and social service.

Admission Process

The admission process at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut is designed to be transparent, student-friendly, and merit-based. Admissions are offered across UG, PG, Diploma, and PhD programs in various disciplines.

Step 1: Application
Candidates can apply online through the official university website or obtain the application form from the university campus.

Step 2: Eligibility Check
Applicants must meet the minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed for the chosen program (academic qualifications and required marks).

Step 3: Entrance Test / Merit-Based Selection

Admission to most UG and PG programs is based on merit in the qualifying examination.

PhD admissions are based on the SNET (Subharti National Eligibility Test), followed by an interview. Candidates qualified in UGC-NET/JRF/CSIR/GATE/M.Phil may be exempted from the written test as per university norms.

Step 4: Counseling & Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates are invited for counseling and verification of original documents.

Step 5: Fee Payment & Enrollment
Selected candidates must complete the admission by paying the prescribed fees within the stipulated time to confirm their seat.
