Founded in 2011 by the Sunrise Integrated Educational Trust, SunRise University (SRU) is a private institution situated in the historic city of Alwar, Rajasthan. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by AICTE, the university also holds approvals from prestigious bodies such as the Government of Rajasthan, Bar Council of India (BCI), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), and the Rajasthan Paramedical Council, among others.

Spread across 35+ acres of green and modern campus space along Ding-Bharatpur Road, SRU blends advanced technology, research-driven academics, and liberal education values. Admission Process

At SunRise University (SRU), Alwar, the admission process is designed to be smooth, transparent, and student-centric. Whether you are applying for an undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral program, the university ensures a fair selection process while keeping it simple for applicants.

Step 1 – Online Application
Candidates need to visit the official website of SunRise University.

Click on the “Apply Now” button and fill in the application form with accurate personal, academic, and contact details.

Upload scanned copies of the required documents.

Step 2 – Selection Criteria
For UG & PG Programs: Admission is primarily merit-based, considering marks obtained in qualifying examinations.

For M.Phil. & Ph.D. Programs: Applicants must appear for the SRU Entrance Test, followed by a Personal Interview conducted by the university. Performance in both stages determines final selection.

Step 3 – Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates must present their original certificates and mark sheets for verification.

Required documents generally include academic transcripts, ID proof, photographs, and category/reservation certificates (if applicable).

Step 4 – Fee Payment & Confirmation
Once selected, students must complete the admission fee payment within the given deadline.

Minimum Requirements

SunRise University – Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Before applying to any program at SunRise University (SRU), Alwar, candidates must ensure they meet the basic eligibility criteria. The requirements vary depending on the level of the course, but the general guidelines are as follows:

Undergraduate (UG) Programs
Applicants must have successfully completed 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board.

A minimum aggregate of 45–50% marks is required (may vary based on the program).

Some professional courses may have additional subject-specific requirements.

Postgraduate (PG) Programs
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.

A minimum of 50–55% marks in graduation is typically required.

For professional programs like MBA, candidates may also be evaluated on entrance test scores or personal interviews.

M.Phil. & Ph.D. Programs
A postgraduate degree in a related field with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) is mandatory.
