The story of Shobhit University Gangoh is deeply rooted in a vision to transform lives through education. This journey began with the dream of Babu Vijendra Kumar Ji, a respected agriculturist and social reformer from Gangoh, district Saharanpur. He believed that true national progress starts when young minds are empowered with knowledge, values, and opportunity—especially in rural and semi-urban regions.

This inspiring vision took concrete shape in 1989 with the formation of NICE Society, led by Dr. Shobhit Kumar and Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra, along with a dedicated team of academicians, technocrats, professionals, and social workers. Their shared mission was simple yet powerful: to make quality education accessible, inclusive, and socially meaningful.

Established in 2012 through a legislative act of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Shobhit University Gangoh stands today as a center of academic excellence with a strong commitment to innovation, research, and holistic development. Accredited with an ‘A’ Grade by NAAC and recognized by UGC, AICTE, BCI, PCI, NCTE, and other statutory bodies, the University offers credibility, quality, and global relevance.
