Noida International University (NIU) is a leading private university established in 2010 under U.P. Legislature Act No. 27 of 2010 and recognized by Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. Sponsored by the Maruti Educational Trust, NIU stands as a symbol of academic excellence, innovation, and global outlook.

Admission Process

Admission Process

The admission process at Noida International University (NIU) is designed to be simple, transparent, and fully online, ensuring ease and accessibility for applicants from India and abroad.

Step 1: Online Application
Candidates must visit the official NIU website and complete the online application form by providing personal, academic, and contact details.

Step 2: Eligibility Verification
Applications are reviewed based on eligibility criteria specific to each program.

Undergraduate Programs: Based on performance in Class 10+2 or equivalent.

Postgraduate Programs: Based on graduation results in a relevant discipline.

PhD Programs: Applicants must hold a Master’s degree with the required minimum percentage as per UGC norms.

Step 3: Entrance Test / Merit-Based Shortlisting

Technical programs (such as B.Tech) require candidates to appear for the NIU Selection Admission Test (NSAT) or submit valid national-level entrance scores (where applicable).

Non-technical programs are generally shortlisted based on merit, followed by Group Discussion (GD) and/or Personal Interview (PI).

Step 4: Interview & Counseling
Shortlisted candidates may be invited for counseling, document verification, and personal interaction (online or offline).

Step 5: Admission Offer & Fee Payment
Selected candidates receive a Provisional Admission Offer. Admission is confirmed upon payment of the prescribed fee within the stipulated timeline.

Step 6: Final Enrollment
After successful fee submission and document verification, students receive confirmation of enrollment and academic onboarding details.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Admission to Noida International University (NIU) is subject to fulfillment of the minimum academic and program-specific eligibility criteria outlined below:

Undergraduate Programs (UG)

Candidates must have successfully completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.

A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required (relaxation as per government/UGC norms).

For technical programs such as B.Tech, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are mandatory subjects in 10+2.

Postgraduate Programs (PG)

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.

A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required in the qualifying examination (relaxation applicable as per norms).

Doctoral Programs (PhD)

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.

A minimum of 50–55% aggregate marks (as per UGC guidelines) is required.

Diploma & Certificate Programs
