Admission Process

Admission Process

The admission process at Mangalayatan University is designed to be transparent, student-friendly, and merit-based, ensuring equal opportunities for all eligible candidates.

Step 1: Application Submission
Candidates can apply online or offline by filling out the application form available on the university website or campus. Applicants must provide accurate academic and personal details.

Step 2: Entrance Examination / Merit Evaluation
Admissions are granted based on:

Performance in the Mangalayatan University Entrance Test (MUET), or

Valid scores from recognized national or state-level entrance examinations, or

Merit-based evaluation of qualifying examination results (as per programme requirements).

Step 3: Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the minimum eligibility criteria specified for their chosen programme. For most programmes, a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination is required (relaxation as per applicable norms).

Step 4: Counselling & Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates are invited for counselling and document verification. Seat allotment is done based on merit, entrance score, and availability of seats.

Step 5: Fee Payment & Enrollment
Selected candidates must confirm their admission by paying the prescribed fees within the stipulated timeline to secure their seat.

Step 6: Commencement of Classes
Upon successful enrollment, students receive orientation details and academic schedules before classes begin.

To be eligible for admission at Mangalayatan University, candidates must fulfill the following minimum requirements:

Educational Qualification:
Applicants must have passed the qualifying examination from a recognized board or university relevant to the chosen programme.

A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination is required (relaxation applicable as per government/university norms).
