What began as a modest yet meaningful initiative in 2003 has today grown into one of Uttar Pradesh’s most promising centres of higher education. Established by the Shivika Educational Society, Vivek’s journey started with a single B.Ed. college, created to meet the growing need for quality, value-driven education. In 2024, this long-standing commitment to academic excellence reached a historic milestone when Vivek College was granted university status and emerged as Vivek University, a State Private University approved by the Government of Uttar Pradesh under Act No. 21 of 2024 and recognized by the UGC under Section 2(f). From a small sapling to a strong banyan tree, Vivek University today symbolizes growth, stability, and knowledge rooted in purpose. Spread across a serene 100-acre green campus, the university is located on the Bijnor–Moradabad State Highway, surrounded by the calm and spiritual environment near the holy River Ganga. As the first and only university in Bijnor district, Vivek University proudly stands among the leading educational institutions of Uttar Pradesh. 📋 Admission Process
Admission Process The admission process at is designed to be smooth, transparent, and student-friendly. Candidates can apply through both online and offline modes. Step 1 Application Submission Visit the official admission portal or the university campus to fill out the application form with correct personal and academic details. Step 2 Document Upload Submit the required documents including mark sheets, ID proof, photographs, and category certificates (if applicable). Step 3 Eligibility Verification The university reviews the submitted documents and checks eligibility as per the programme requirements. Step 4 Entrance or Merit Evaluation Admissions are granted either on a merit basis or through entrance tests, depending on the course selected. Step 5 Counselling and Seat Allotment Shortlisted candidates are invited for counselling or interaction rounds, after which seats are allotted. Step 6 Fee Payment and Confirmation Pay the prescribed admission fee to confirm your seat. The offer is finalized only after fee submission. Step 7 Enrollment and Orientation Complete enrollment formalities and attend the orientation programme to begin your academic journey at university.
✅ Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements Undergraduate (UG) Programs: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Class XII) from a recognized board with at least 45–50% marks in relevant subjects. Postgraduate (PG) Programs: A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required. Diploma Courses: Applicants should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream from a recognized board. Ph.D. Programs: Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks (or equivalent CGPA). For reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PH), a relaxation of 5% is provided. Applicants with UGC-NET / GATE / CSIR / JRF qualifications are exempted from the university entrance test. Age Limit: No upper age limit; admissions are merit and qualification based.
