GSFC University in Vadodara is a forward looking private institution created in 2014 by the GSFC Education Society, the CSR arm of Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited. With more than six decades of industrial legacy behind it, the University was established to bring industry ready learning, innovation focused education and socially responsible development to the youth of Gujarat and India. The University is recognised by the University Grants Commission under Section 2 f and is accredited by NAAC. Built on the guiding thought Buddhi Gyanen Shudhayanti which means that wisdom and intellect are refined through true knowledge, GSFC University blends academic learning with real world skill building. Since its first academic year in 2015, the University has evolved from two programmes and one small batch to more than three thousand students studying across twenty plus programmes in the Schools of Technology, Science, and Management Studies. Every student benefits from hands on internships through the Student Internship Program which runs in partnership with leading industries including GSFC Limited. Today the University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and doctoral programmes in Engineering, Science, Business Administration and Liberal Arts.
