🎓 About Bhartiya Skill Development University
Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU), Jaipur is India's first university exclusively focused on skill-based higher education, offering a unique learning model that blends academic knowledge with real-world industry experience. Established in 2017 under the Bhartiya Skill Development University Act by the Government of Rajasthan, BSDU was founded with the vision of transforming conventional education into career-oriented, hands-on learning. Inspired by the internationally acclaimed Swiss Dual Education System, BSDU follows an industry-integrated approach where students combine classroom studies with practical training throughout every semester. This experiential learning model helps graduates develop professional expertise, technical competence, and workplace confidence, making them industry-ready from day one. The university was established by the Rajendra and Ursula Joshi Charitable Trust (RUJ-CT) with academic support from the Rajendra and Ursula Joshi Foundation (JCF), Switzerland. This international collaboration enables BSDU to incorporate Swiss vocational excellence into Indian higher education through expert faculty interactions, industry-driven curriculum design, advanced trainer development, and global best practices. BSDU offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and vocational programmes across multiple disciplines, including Automotive, Manufacturing, Computing, Healthcare, Construction, Hospitality, Entrepreneurship, Electrical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Office Administration, Woodworking, and General Education. Every programme is designed in close collaboration with industry partners to ensure students acquire practical skills that meet current market demands. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), BSDU has earned national recognition for its commitment to skill development. The university secured the 3rd position in the NIRF 2024 Skill University Rankings, reflecting its excellence in vocational education and industry-oriented learning. 📋 Admission Process
Visit the official BSDU admission portal and complete the online application form. Register using a valid email ID and mobile number. Fill in your personal, academic, and course details accurately. Upload the required documents and pay the application fee. Appear for the university's entrance test and/or personal interview (if applicable). Admissions are granted based on entrance performance, academic merit, and eligibility criteria. Selected candidates receive an admission offer and must complete document verification. Confirm your admission by paying the prescribed course fee within the given deadline.
✅ Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements Undergraduate Programs: Passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with the required minimum marks for the chosen course. Postgraduate Programs: Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. Ph.D. Programs: Master's degree in the relevant field with the minimum qualifying marks as per UGC/BSDU regulations. Candidates must satisfy the course-specific eligibility criteria and qualify in the university's entrance test/interview, wherever applicable. Submission of all required documents during the admission process is mandatory
