Candidates must possess a Master’s degree (M.Sc or M.Tech) in Environmental Science, Ecology, Chemistry, or related fields with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).

Applicants must submit a research proposal focusing on topics like climate policy, biodiversity conservation, or environmental chemistry. Candidates with work experience in NGOs, pollution control boards, or environmental projects are given preference.
